Itinerary

1
DAY
🛬 Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

As you step out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal guide welcomes you warmly with a cheerful: “Karibu Tanzania – welcome to Tanzania!” From there, your guide escorts you directly to your hotel, where you can unwind and soak in the vibrant African atmosphere. The following day, embark on a private, tailor-made safari with your guide, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace. Enjoy the comfort of your own safari jeep and pause as long as you like to observe the magnificent wildlife!

📒 PLEASE NOTE: Check-in starts at 2:00 PM.

Gran Melia Hotel, Arusha (with lunch, dinner & breakfast) or similer.

DAY
🐾 Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds and impressive baobab trees, some of which can live for centuries. During the dry season, elephants cleverly extract moisture from these ancient giants to stay hydrated. The Tarangire River becomes the park’s only water source at this time, attracting vast numbers of wildlife. It’s not unusual to witness gatherings of up to 250 elephants, alongside many other animals, when exploring with Serengeti Bucket List.

🐾 Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is located between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, at the edge of the dramatic 400-meter-deep Great Rift Valley. This compact park features diverse habitats that support a wide range of wildlife. With Serengeti Bucket List, you can explore the vast lake that spans about 75% of the park, drive through lush rainforest teeming with monkeys and birds, and encounter elephants at close range within the scenic woodlands.

🐾 Ngorongoro Conservation Area (incl. Crater)

The iconic Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s seven natural wonders, was created two million years ago by a massive volcanic eruption. Its rich volcanic soil has given rise to a unique ecosystem, hosting the densest concentration of wildlife anywhere in Africa! Inside the crater, you’ll encounter thousands of animals—from lions and zebras to buffalo and black rhinos—while breathtaking views surround you at every turn. Experience it all with Serengeti Bucket List.
